They are both passionate about capturing the beauty of the ocean and sharing it with the world. Whether you're an avid scuba diver, marine biologist, or just love the ocean, OceanShutter has something for you. Feel free to explore the site and get lost in the wonder of the ocean.
We're excited to share our passion with you and can't wait to dive deeper into the world of underwater imagery.
Dustin Adamson
Based in land locked Utah USA, Dustin was certified to scuba dive when he was 17 years old. It wasn't until then that he gained interest in the Ocean and all of the wonders it offers. Having never swam in the ocean, he took a journey to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. It was there that the ocean started him down a journey that changed his life. In 2011, he decided to dive with a camera for the first time. Being completely self taught, he educated himself how to film underwater. Fast forward thru the years and Dustin has won numerous international film awards. His footage has been used for broadcast TV, film festivals, commercials, advertisements as well as viral social media posts. In 2015 he had the honor of being inducted into the prestigious Ocean Artist Society as a Cinematographer. He is also a Backscatter Pro diver who loves to plan dive trips. Diving will always be a love of his, however, his excitement now comes from planning and executing underwater shots. He hopes to continue providing quality footage for many years to come.
